Abundantly Answered

Spring 2016 Ministry Update

The year started wonderfully with an opportunity to preach once again at Servant’s Heart Camp Ministry.  It is always an absolute joy working alongside Bro. Jim Fry and his staff.  This year’s winter retreat was just outside of Loganton, PA, and we saw the Lord work in mighty ways with many decisions for victory through Christ.  One of the most encouraging pieces of the week was to have two different young people (one who was once a camper but now on staff) give testimony of how God had continued to use a message I had preached several years earlier at another winter retreat!  How thrilling to be reminded that God continues to use His Word and give results years later!

From Pennsylvania I drove to West Virginia to preach a Sunday morning service at my home church before heading to sunny / humid Florida.  MANY prayers were answered in the month of February when I married the bride God had picked for me!  After almost seven years alone on the road God has given me the most perfect helpmeet for me, and for the ministry God has called us to.

Many have asked, either through calls, emails, or texts, how ‘married life’ is going.  IT IS WONDERFUL! I am also asked if my wife likes living in an RV (In her words, she ‘absolutely LOVES it!’), and how it feels going from being a bachelor to being married.  I have come to this conclusion: I was convinced serving God was a blast before I got married, BUT now I am convinced THERE IS NOTHING BETTER than serving God with the love of your life!!!

Since February, God has given us several different preaching engagements and is continuing to fill this year’s calendar!  We have meetings coming up in North Carolina, West Virginia and Illinois, and July is completely full! God is continuing to fill the rest of our schedule!  Praise the Lord!  Please continue to pray as the Lord fills our schedule, and that we would be a blessing in word and deed in every place God plants us from week to week.

Your servants for the cause of Christ and All for His glory,
Glenn and Katie Stevenson, 2Tim 2:4
