His Continual Work

God has worked in mighty ways in the last two months. We have preached in Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and Arizona. To recount all of God’s goodness and blessings would take far too long, but our hearts are full. Many have come to Christ, and others continue seeing God’s reviving work.

While preaching at a Saturday Youth Rally and Sunday meeting in Alabama, I found out that the church intern had surrendered to serve the Lord at a youth camp I had the privilege of preaching at nine or ten years ago. In at least four other meetings this year, we have met individuals who trusted Christ or surrendered to serve God in past meetings and are continuing to serve the Lord. The Lord does not always show fruit from preaching, but it is encouraging to hear how God worked in lives beyond our knowledge and how He continues His work through those lives now.

God has been doing a great reviving work in many local churches around the country. In Tennessee, a man approached me in awe and said, “I saw God work in me this morning.” While in Michigan, several individuals said, “I have never seen God be so real to me before this week. Why does the meeting have to end?” Also in Illinois, a man and his daughter who saw God work mightily in them in a previous meeting said that their walk with the Lord had continued to be real and personal. I am rejoicing that our sweet Lord is so good to show us our sins, forgive us when we ask, and then allow us the privilege to choose to walk in fellowship, live in victory, and grow in Him every day. Revival is not just a meeting but ought to be the walk of every Christian.

Many of you have been praying over our recent truck issues. Praise the Lord with us! He led us to a mechanic who knew the problem and was able to solve it with a new fuel pump. Then, God sent a sweet servant along to cover the entire cost of the repairs. Although we do not know the name of this sweet servant, we know God has used them to help keep us on the road to preach the Gospel, and their rewards are eternal. Thank you for praying!

At the beginning of this year, we began asking the Lord to lead us to more souls who needed the Lord. We have seen God lead us into the most unique situations, and He has given us some of the most amazing opportunities to give the Gospel. We have personally found that God will give you what you ask for and allow you to have a part in seeing His hand at work if we only ask and then obey. May we encourage you to ask God to lead you to a soul in the next two weeks, and then be prepared to see God use you

“Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!” (Psalm 107:8)
