So many Christians today, both young and old, are living in discouragement and defeat. Time and time again, when faced with temptation we have given into the pressure and afterward grappled with the difficult question, “Was it even worth it to try?”
The Biblical answer to temptation is not in “trying” but rather trusting in the only One Who is greater than temptation, Jesus. He has already conquered sin and won the victory. He then gave us His Word as an instruction guide to victory and joy. When we simply follow His Word, and depend on Him, He has promised to bring us through temptation undefeated.
