Revival Ministry Update

In the past few months, we have had the joy of watching the Lord do so many wonderful things. He has kept us safe across many miles, worked powerfully in hearts during revival meetings, saved many souls, and met our needs as they have arisen. We praise the Lord for His faithfulness and cannot wait to see how He will continue to work in these summer months.

In April, we began six weeks of back-to-back meetings across Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado, and Utah. Several of these revival weeks were first-time revival meetings or the first in a long time. The enemy seemed to work overtime to hinder both us and these churches from seeing the work move forward, but God showed up in every service, often beginning in the prayer meetings before the preaching even started. In Nebraska, we saw five individuals trust in Christ. In Illinois and Missouri, we saw great victories over self and sin. In Colorado and Utah, we saw some who had refused to attend regular church services attend the nightly meetings and hear the Gospel. Through all of this, it was evident that the Spirit of God was at work, and we continue to rejoice in the news that God has continued his reviving work in many of these churches since the meetings.

After revival meetings in Utah, we traveled to Phoenix, Arizona, for several meetings. Returning to churches where we have preached before is always encouraging, especially when we see how the Lord has continued to build His church and what He has done for His people. Interestingly, our planned two-week stay in the valley was extended by a few weeks. Shortly after arriving in Phoenix, one of us had to visit a dentist because of a broken tooth. Unfortunately, we were referred to an oral surgeon. After adjusting our schedule, the surgery was performed, and after a week of recovery, everything was back to normal. We are so thankful for the love and kindness of Desert Gateway Baptist Church in Gilbert, Arizona. This church took such good care of us, and the Lord even arranged for our girls to attend the church’s Vacation Bible School. Because of our normal meeting schedule, it was the first VBS our girls had ever attended, and they had a blast.

Over the next few months, our schedule will take us to Utah, Idaho, Texas, Missouri, and Pennsylvania. During several of these weeks, we will preach at youth and family camps and at a young adult retreat in Idaho and Pennsylvania. We deeply appreciate your faithful prayers and support as we travel and preach for revival.
