Sunday Services

This past Sunday I was given the opportunity to preach twice at Krasnoyarsk Baptist Church. The services went very well but it had been almost two years since I had preached through an interrupter (interpreter). I struggled some during the first message but thankfully had a good interrupter named Kostia. He did very well translating my Southern English, and many said the Lord worked in their hearts through the messages.

Later that evening we drove out to the village of Shila to hold another service. It was about an hour dive outside of Krasnoyarsk and it was quite a bit colder in the village than the city. In order to prepare for the meeting we had to arrive early to shovel snow, haul wood, start a fire, and haul water. When it was time for the service to begin it was evident that each one in attendance was eager to learn about God’s Word.
