After finishing last week’s meeting in Chesapeake, Virginia, I drove to Dunbar, Pennsylvania to preach a Patriotic Sunday for Pastor Bob Wrachford. The services went very well and we saw one man walk the isle for salvation. To God be the glory! Please continue to be in prayer for the gentleman’s mother who attended with him. She has many questions but is unwilling to put her aside her religion to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
After preaching all day Sunday in Dubar, Pennsylvania, I drove up to Wildwood Christian Retreat in Tunnelton, West Virginia for three weeks of camp. During those three weeks I was able to serve alongside of camp director Allen Marshall and his son Joel who have faithfully served the Lord for many years in camp ministries. What a joy it was to work and fellowship with faithful servants of the Lord.
In addition to preaching to a wonderful, hard working, reliable camp staff during the camp’s counselor training week, I was able to preach the following week of Junior Camp, where we saw the Lord do some wonderful works. The group of young people in attendance varied from young people who had grown up in church to those who had never before heard the Gospel story. Many victories were won through the power of the Word, at least two accepted Christ, and several others surrendered their lives completely to the Lord’s service. The following week of teen camp saw even more victories and two more teens came to Christ under the preaching of Evangelist Dwight Smith! Thank you for your prayers and to God be the glory!
